QTIPS - Blank Menus in Windows

If you do not nominate a menu when customising the screen, the top line will be left blank, but should the user click on the line, the previous menu will be activated. This can be at least, irritating and at worst, downright destructive.

To get around this problem, create a menu called "BLANK" using the editor in the menus file. On line 4 put 80 spaces then save the row. (Using V16 as a line editor can be useful for this.) Nominate this menu as the window menu, and the user will see just the traditional menu bar stripe but with no choices. Clicking on the bar will produce no results.
