QTIPS - Finding/Replacing Spaces With The EditorA subscriber asked recently how to replace leading, trailing and embedded spaces in the editor, as Ctrl-R followed by a space did not work. The answer is to use quotation marks. Thus to replace all occurrences of two spaces with one, use " ". Similarly if it is required to replace one set of quotation marks with another character, bracket them with the opposite kind of quotation marks, EG '"' or "'". (Volume 3, Issue 4, Page 9) |
