Toggle flag for Status Line display. If set to 0 status line will not be displayed BUT all calls to STATUP are still made. Setting to 1 permits the display of the status line. By toggling this programmatically the programmer can add or remove the status line at will.

Note though that it is the programmer's responsibility to save off the existing status line for subsequent restoral before blanking it. See future REVMEDIAs for full details of status line manipulation. Can be amended.
