The FIELDSTORE processor. FIELDSTORE is the opposite of FIELD and usage syntax is virtually identical to that of FIELD (so don't let the manual confuse you). It is curious therefore that FIELDSTORE is an RTP but FIELD is an internal routine. To illustrate this, try using FIELDSTORE with unassigned variables - an RTP32 VNAV message results. Do the same with FIELD and a standard VNAV message results.
