Well Mr Steibelt, the answer simply is NOTHING. You just aren't doing quite enough. You have the right idea with telling AREV to use an HL call for a literal message, as this will display a "Press any key to continue" message, but as you so rightly point out, it just takes the next data item from your capture and continues. What we have to do is to tell Catalyst to turn OFF the playback while it is performing your instructions and then to turn it back on when exiting Catalyst.

Fortunately those awfully nice Rev Tech people have made this easy for you with an undocumented Catalyst call. (For further examples of these see preceding article). What you need to do is to append a P to your Catalyst code. This tells Catalyst to suspend playback. The Catalyst call that you require is therefore ("HLP","My text"). This should solve your problem (and is pleasantly onomatopoeic).
